Acceptance Standards and Key Project Acceptance Points for Suzhou Intelligent AS/RS Warehouse

As core facilities for intelligent manufacturing and logistics automation, the acceptance of intelligent AS/RS warehouses is directly related to system stability, efficiency and long-term operational value. As an agglomeration of manufacturing and logistics industries, the acceptance of intelligent AS/RS warehouses in Suzhou shall comply with national industry standards including GB/T 35743 Code for Design of Automated Storage and Retrieval System and GB/T 28570 Terminology for Automated Storage and Retrieval System, as well as local industrial demands, covering multiple dimensions such as hardware, software, integration, performance and safety. The details are as follows:

Ⅰ. Hardware Equipment Acceptance

As the foundation of AS/RS operation, hardware shall be verified item by item in terms of specifications and performance.

1. Rack System

  • Material and structure: Check whether the material specifications of columns and beams conform to design requirements such as Q235B steel; welding joints shall be free of cracks and pores.

  • Precision indicators: Column verticality deviation ≤ 1/1000, beam levelness deviation ≤ 2mm per meter; the overall structural stability shall pass a static load test of 1.2 times the rated load without deformation within 24 consecutive hours.

  • Protection measures: Anti-collision strips shall be installed at rack edges, and fall prevention devices shall be equipped for high-level racks.

2. Stacker

  • Operational performance: Horizontal and vertical running speeds shall meet design values; positioning accuracy reaches ±5mm via laser or encoder positioning.

  • Reliability: No faults occur after 1000 consecutive cargo access cycles; noise ≤ 75dB(A) under no-load condition.

  • Safety devices: Emergency stop buttons, limit switches, overload protection and fall prevention devices shall be sensitive and effective.

3. Conveying and Sorting System

  • Conveyor belt: Deviation ≤ 5mm, conveying speed error ±5%, docking accuracy with stackers or AGVs ≤ 10mm.

  • AGV: Navigation accuracy ±10mm for laser or QR code navigation; flexible path planning with obstacle avoidance response time ≤ 0.5 seconds.

  • Sorting equipment: Accuracy ≥ 99.9%, processing capacity up to designed standard such as no less than 200 pieces per hour.

Ⅱ. Software System Acceptance

As the brain of AS/RS, software shall be inspected for functional completeness and stability.

1. WMS (Warehouse Management System)

  • Core functions: Generation of inbound orders, intelligent location allocation, outbound picking following FIFO and batch management, inventory counting including blind counting and cycle counting, and report generation covering inventory turnover and inbound & outbound statistics.

  • Data accuracy: Consistency rate between inventory data and actual goods ≥ 99.9%; order processing error rate ≤ 0.1%.

2. WCS (Warehouse Control System)

  • Scheduling capability: Support concurrent task processing of multiple equipment such as simultaneous scheduling of 2 stackers and 5 AGVs with effective optimized task allocation algorithms.

  • Fault handling: Automatically trigger alarms and adjust tasks upon equipment exceptions, such as switching to alternative aisles when a stacker breaks down, with complete log records.

3. Data Interface

  • Docking with ERP/MES systems: Data synchronization delay ≤ 10 seconds with 100% transmission accuracy for two-way interaction of orders and inventory data.

  • Openness: Support API expansion to facilitate subsequent system upgrading.

Ⅲ. System Integration and Linkage Test

Verify the collaborative operation capability of each subsystem.

1. Full-process Test

  • Simulate actual business scenarios: Complete 300 consecutive error-free cycles including inbound procedures of scanning, conveying and stacker putaway, as well as outbound procedures of order issuance, stacker picking, sorting and delivery.

  • Abnormal scenario test: The system shall stop automatically and trigger alarms without data loss in case of overweight cargo, conveyor jamming or stacker failure.

2. Performance Indicator Verification

  • Inbound and outbound efficiency: No less than 15 pallets per hour for single-aisle stackers, and no less than 50 pallets per hour for the overall system subject to designed scale.

  • System response time: ≤ 2 seconds from instruction issuance to equipment execution; report generation ≤ 1 minute.

Ⅳ. Safety and Compliance Inspection

Ensure compliance with local work safety and industrial specifications in Suzhou.

1. Equipment Safety

  • Protection facilities: Protective fences with height ≥ 1.2m and photoelectric sensors with detection distance ≥ 1m shall be set in operation areas; emergency stop buttons shall cover all key nodes.

  • Electrical safety: Grounding resistance ≤ 4Ω, insulation resistance ≥ 1MΩ; cable layout shall comply with GB 50254 Code for Construction and Acceptance of Low-Voltage Electrical Appliances in Electrical Installation Engineering.

2. Fire Protection and Special Equipment

  • Fire protection: Smoke detectors and sprinkler systems shall cover all areas in accordance with GB 50016 Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings.

  • Special equipment: Stackers shall obtain Special Equipment Use Registration Certificate issued by Suzhou market supervision bureau with valid periodic inspection reports.

3. Data Security

  • Data backup: Automatic daily backup with backup data retained for no less than 30 days.

  • Encryption: Transmission and storage of sensitive data such as orders and inventory shall conform to GB/T 22239 Cybersecurity Classified Protection Basic Requirements.

Ⅴ. Documents and Training Acceptance

1. Technical Documents

Provide complete materials including equipment list, circuit diagrams, software operation manuals, maintenance manuals, test reports and acceptance outlines; documents shall comply with ISO 9001 quality management system requirements with clear and traceable versions.

2. User Training

  • Training content: Equipment operation, daily maintenance, troubleshooting and emergency handling.

  • Assessment: Operators shall pass practical assessment with a 100% pass rate, capable of independent system operation and basic maintenance.

Conclusion

The acceptance of intelligent AS/RS warehouses in Suzhou shall strictly follow the principles of qualified hardware, reliable software, integrated collaboration and safety compliance. Multi-dimensional tests shall be conducted to ensure the system meets design specifications and business demands. After acceptance, an acceptance report shall be signed to clarify the warranty period (usually 1 to 2 years) and subsequent service terms, providing reliable support for enterprise logistics automation.
