1. Core Features

The bin layer-changing lift system is designed for vertical conveying in intelligent warehousing environments. It focuses on efficiency, stability, safety, and flexibility, making it suitable for multi-industry storage and logistics applications.

High precision and efficiency
The system adopts servo drive technology combined with high-precision positioning methods such as encoders, laser distance measurement, or barcode positioning. Positioning accuracy can reach ±2–3 mm, ensuring precise docking between the lifting platform and each conveyor level.
The lifting speed is typically 1–3 m/s, with smooth acceleration and deceleration, enabling short cycle times and high-frequency vertical transfers in automated warehouses.

Compact structure design
The frame is made of aluminum alloy or structural steel, featuring a lightweight yet rigid structure. The guide-column vertical design minimizes footprint, making it suitable for narrow aisles and multi-level rack systems in high-density warehouses.
It supports single-depth, double-depth, or multi-station configurations to match different storage layouts and throughput requirements.

Stable operation performance
A counterbalance system is integrated to reduce motor load, improve smoothness, and lower energy consumption. Transmission systems such as synchronous belts, chains, or steel wire ropes are reinforced for high strength, wear resistance, and 24/7 continuous operation capability.

High safety and reliability
Multiple safety protection mechanisms are included: physical anti-collision devices, limit switches, anti-drop safety locks, overload protection, emergency braking systems, safety door interlocks, and pull-rope emergency stops.
The electrical system provides protection against overload, overcurrent, undervoltage, and phase loss. The system automatically stops and triggers alarms in case of abnormal conditions.

Intelligent integration capability
Supports manual, local automatic, and remote integrated control modes. It can communicate with WCS/WMS systems, shuttle vehicles, and conveyor lines in real time.
Functions include fault diagnosis, real-time monitoring, data logging, and remote commissioning and maintenance.

Strong adaptability
Compatible with standard bins, turnover boxes, shuttle carriers, and small load units. It supports horizontal or slight incline docking and can be customized as single-platform, dual-platform, or multi-platform lift systems to meet different efficiency demands.

2. Core Structure and Key Components

(1) Main frame
Constructed from high-strength aluminum profiles or welded/bolted steel structures. It provides strong rigidity and minimal deformation. Vertical guide rails ensure stable lifting without deviation or vibration, supporting multi-level warehouse layouts.

(2) Load platform
The load platform serves as the main carrying unit. It can be equipped with roller, belt, or chain conveyor systems to enable smooth transfer of bins or shuttle carriers.
It includes positioning, blocking, and clamping devices to prevent displacement during lifting. Four corner guide wheels ensure stable vertical movement along the frame.

(3) Drive and transmission system
Driven by servo motors combined with precision gear reducers, ensuring stable power output and accurate positioning.
Three transmission options are available:

  • Synchronous belt drive: high speed, low noise, high precision, low maintenance

  • Chain drive: high load capacity, durable, cost-effective

  • Steel wire rope drive: suitable for long stroke and heavy-duty applications
A counterweight system is integrated to balance load and reduce energy consumption.

(4) Positioning and detection system
Includes encoders, laser sensors, and barcode positioning strips to ensure precise layer alignment (±2–3 mm accuracy).
Detection components include limit switches, position sensors, load sensors, speed sensors, and anti-deviation sensors to monitor operational safety and system status in real time.

(5) Safety protection system
Mechanical protection includes anti-fall devices, buffers, safety hooks, guardrails, and safety doors.
Electrical protection includes emergency stop buttons, pull-cord switches, overload protection, safety relays, and alarm systems.

(6) Electrical control system
Based on PLC controllers (such as Siemens or Mitsubishi) with touchscreen interfaces for intuitive operation.
Supports manual, automatic, and remote integration modes. Communication protocols such as Profinet and EtherNet/IP enable seamless system integration with warehouse automation platforms.

(7) Auxiliary components
Includes floor docking systems, safety doors, positioning pins, and transition plates for accurate docking between lift platform and conveyor lines.
Optional systems include automatic or manual lubrication, dust covers, rain protection structures, and soundproof enclosures depending on application environment.
